Data deletion

You can delete your Patensify account and its data at any time, without talking to anyone. This page explains how, exactly what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
1. In the app (immediate)
This is the fastest route, and the result is final:
- Open Patensify and go to Profile.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no recovery step — once confirmed, the account cannot be restored.
2. By email
If you have lost access to the app, or prefer to request it in writing, email privacy@patensify.com from the address registered on the account.
We reply within 15 calendar days, as required by the LGPD. We ask for the registered address only to confirm the request comes from the account holder — no further documents are required.
3. Disconnecting Instagram only
If you want to keep your Patensify account but cut off access to your Instagram data, disconnect the account in the app (Profile → your connected account → Disconnect). That revokes our access with Meta immediately and stops any further collection.
The same result can be reached from Instagram, under Settings → Apps and websites, by removing Patensify from the list.
4. What is deleted
Deletion permanently removes:
- your account record and sign-in credentials — including your email and name, the only personal data we hold;
- connected social accounts, along with their corresponding access tokens;
- all history collected from them: posts, metrics, comments, mentions, audience demographics and the insights generated from them;
- notifications, registered devices and preferences.
5. What remains, and why
Product usage event records are kept with no link to you: the identifier tying them to your account ceases to exist along with it, and what remains cannot be traced back to whoever produced it. These support aggregate service-health metrics.
We may also keep records the law requires us to retain, such as tax documents for a paid subscription, for the applicable statutory period — and only for that purpose.
Processing details, legal bases and your other rights are in the Privacy Policy.
